For the past month I’ve been wanting to host my own email server granted I know there is alot of providers out there but I just don’t know what they are doing so I figure I might as well get vps host my own email server and if friends, family wanted unique email address I’d host them as well. The goal is reliability and trustworthy
i’m going to go through with some of the kinds I’ve tried so far and my personal thoughts. None of these I would suggest use for selling email services just as your own private email if you want to kick the habit with going with gmail, hotmail and go unique
- Mailinabox – Not to bad pretty easy to configure and install on your vps. uses ubuntu
- Mail Cow – Alot more options which I’m testing that one out if you’d like to test it with me push me tweet or reach out to me on discord.
