I’ve been using bark for 7 to 8 months recently ended my subscription with them just due to not needing it anymore but thought I’d do honest review for other parents out there interested in using it.

This app is a bit different from others it will require you to install the parent app on mac or pc first then the device you have you may have to hook it up to the pc which I found intresting from other apps out there.
Likes
- It scans youtube, spotify, text back and forth on imessage it will only push out the alerts of the categories you pick.
- The cost is not to bad monthly
- you can add more then one phone number and emails to get alerts.
- Great for teens, kids.
- you can pause internet so they are unable to get on it you can set timed controls as well
- There is huge selection of filters. if you don’t want your kid on youtube or snapchat or certian up you can block it with just few clicks.
- That its simple to use
Dislike
- On Iphones, mac it won’t scan snapchats chat logs. I did read it can scan chats on android phones
- That the device needs to be on your wifi to do proper scan
Note:
Overall I’d like to say bark did amazing job monitoring my kids devices did what it was designed to do I would absolutely suggest this to any parent out there thats looking for app with parental controls
